The brainstorming session of the companies present at the 11th Iran Comprehensive Agricultural Exhibition was held at the Royal Tower in Tehran.
First of all, Dr. Masoud Gilabadi delivered a brief speech: “The 11th exhibition is completely specialized and hosts entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector, farmers and gardeners, students and professors of agriculture, clinics, herbalists, engineers, experts and promoters, distributors and sales agents.”
He stated: “Last year’s success led to the exhibition receiving Grade A, and this year we are the largest specialized exhibition in Iran, and with this synergy and empathy, we will definitely be the largest in the Middle East next year.”
Then, Mr. Farshad Tayari, Deputy Chief of the Exhibition Executive Staff, emphasized that in specialized exhibitions, the identity and brand of companies are always discussed, and continued: “By changing our perspective on the evolution of exhibitions, we are a comprehensive exhibition where every farmer, specialist, and promoter can meet most of their needs; for this reason, this year we faced a 35% increase in the number of participants in the form of 147 booths, islands, and pavilions, and by changing the halls, we also had a 25% increase in the area, and we hope to add a few more halls next year.”
He added: “This year, the first training workshop on pistachios in the country will be held with about 200 pistachio experts and gardeners, and lottery drawing, stand-up comedy, and welfare facilities have been planned for visitors.” Mr. Tayari said: “This exhibition is so influential that the ministry mainly takes the opinions of these two producer associations into account when making decisions about pesticides and fertilizers.” He also asked the participants to act like media.
The next speaker was Dr. Alireza Sadrzadeh, founder of the comprehensive exhibitions of agricultural inputs, irrigation, machinery and equipment, who has held more than 30 specialized agricultural exhibitions in provincial centers, Tehran and abroad for nearly half a century. He welcomed the guests and said: “With your synergy, this year, smart agriculture will also welcome expert visitors in addition to agricultural inputs, and modern irrigation and water supply systems, tools and machinery, programs and agricultural performance of the provinces will also host visitors in a separate hall.”
Emphasizing the active presence of the ministry, he added: “This year, with the coordination of the ministry, more than 100,000 agricultural operators have been invited to the exhibition and will receive visit facilities. On the other hand, agricultural and trade delegations from Afghanistan, Iraq, Azerbaijan, and possibly other countries will visit the exhibition to import agricultural inputs.”
It is worth noting that in this meeting, Dr. Zahra Rasaei, representative of the Green Alchemy Company of Rafsanjan, emphasized the need to pay special attention to the slogan of the year, which is to support the production leap with public participation, and called for inviting the highest officials of the country to visit the exhibition. She also expressed her hope that after the exhibition, we will witness the follow-up to remove obstacles and challenges in the field of agricultural production.
