In 2021, Green Alchemy company was established in the Special Economic Zone of Rafsanjan, 20 kilometers southwest of the city, in order to meet the agricultural needs of the region, enhance economic and scientific growth, boost non-oil exports, and create employment opportunities for young people. Main activities of this company include pistachio and dried fruit export, professional horticulture, modern agriculture, animal husbandry, and charity work. To launch the first phase of the company’s master plan, an ammonium sulfate production unit was built on a land of approximately 5 hectares with an annual capacity of 45,000 tons.
