Green Alchemy Company’s public relations department, referring to the 1404 slogan of investing in production, followed the governor’s speech.
Referring to infrastructure, agricultural and industrial capacities, and renewable energy, the Governor of Rafsanjan introduced numerous opportunities for investment and emphasized that these opportunities will not only help increase employment, but will also lead to sustainable economic development of the region.
Mr. Rezaei added: The Special Economic Zone of Rafsanjan is 1800 hectares in size. In this area, it is possible to implement any type of industrial project due to the complete infrastructure (water, electricity, gas). There are also active industrial zones in the areas of Kabutarkhan, Bahraman, Noogh and Koshkouieh, and investors can use this opportunity for job creation and income generation.
The Governor of Rafsanjan, pointing out that the tile and ceramic project in Koshkouieh is being implemented in different phases, continued: Investors from Yazd have chosen this project due to the availability of labor, roads, and proximity to the railway. Its first phase in the field of tile and ceramic production will be implemented by the end of the year, and the subsequent phases, including paint and glaze production and cardboard production, will be carried out later.
Mr. Rezaei pointed to the allocation of 40,000 shares of this factory to public participation and stated: “This can be a model for other regions of the country because the Supreme Leader’s concern about the production leap with public participation has been answered.”
Also, Ahmadabad-Deefa Private Industrial Park has the capability to set up an automobile parts production unit.
Referring to investment opportunities in agriculture, he said: “Given the lack of water resources in Rafsanjan, alternative crops can be effective for water resource management because pistachio cultivation is facing water shortages. In mountainous areas, saffron, medicinal plants, barberries, jujubes, and roses can be planted, and in other areas, greenhouses can be developed. Tomato production in greenhouses has an income of over 200,000 to 300,000 dollars per hectare.”
Mr. Rezaei also added: “Growing ornamental plants such as cactus and paper flowers, in villages where people live in spacious houses, can be considered a source of income.”
We are able to produce ammonium sulfate fertilizer through the efforts of Green Alchemy company and several other companies in the Special Economic Zone and Industrial Park of Rafsanjan, but since 90 percent of agricultural pesticides are imported, we need to develop domestic production.
He continued: “In Rafsanjan, one of the investment opportunities is in the field of pistachios, which means that the production of products such as chocolate and cookies, ice cream, pistachio butter, and pistachio halva can have added value and also help improve the health of consumers.”
We also train agricultural experts to increase the efficiency of pistachio production in other provinces, because pistachio cultivation has developed in 27 provinces in the country, and farmers in those regions need to benefit from the knowledge of experts to increase the efficiency of pistachio production.
Mr. Rezaei added: We also have the opportunity to invest in renewable energy. We can install solar panels to help mitigate energy shortages, an opportunity that both generates income and meets the country’s electricity needs.
Regarding the capacity of mines, he stated: There are small, medium and large mines in the city, 40% of which are dormant and can be reactivated, in that case they can supply the concentrate needed by the copper industry.
Referring to rural employment and development, he said: We have more than 150 villages in the central part of Rafsanjan and we can take advantage of this capacity for investment opportunities.
Finally, he expressed hope that production would flourish with the cooperation of the people and the government.
