The CEO of Rafsanjan Green Alchemy Company, urged respected and hardworking farmers to beware of counterfeit fertilizers available in the market.
Referring to the numerous news reports regarding the supply of substandard chemical fertilizers in the country – the discovery of 75 tons of counterfeit chemical fertilizers in Qazvin province, 20 tons of fake fertilizers in Malayer, 15 tons of smuggled fertilizers in Kalaleh, and so on – he asked farmers to pay attention to the following components when purchasing fertilizers for their farms:
- Genuine fertilizers have high packaging quality and have a hologram and registration number.
- Below market price is a sign that the product is counterfeit.
- Counterfeit fertilizers sometimes have an unpleasant odor.
- The packaging of original fertilizers includes essential information like the type of fertilizer, country of manufacture, manufacturing company, specifications, and contact information.
